Timo has been actively painting since leaving a teaching position in 1999 and has built up a following which has seen his artwork displayed in homes and premises around the world. He is constantly in demand for commissions and with his unique style his paintings are always a focal point.

In 2008 Timo embarked on a dream that had been inspired by a trip to Canada. He travelled throughout New Zealand painting and writing which culminated in a book being published in September 2009 titled˜Aotearoa New Zealand: A Land to Love.
